HE SAYS:

I have an enduring love of scoring to picture and working with filmmakers who lead me compositionally down avenues I may not have otherwise explored. My schizophrenic musical background means that I am just as comfortable conducting an orchestra as I am arranging and recording a hard rock band. I see musical instruments as sound generators, not just as conduits for intended musical notes. Music does not come from a vacuum; for me, the creative drive is informed by experiences absorbed out in the world, traveling and looking. I have lived and worked in London, Madrid, Vancouver, Mexico City and Los Angeles, but my home is New York City.
